The sequel to Deadpool opens in theaters on Feb. 12.

“Deadpool 3,” the third film in the franchise, opens Feb. 22.
The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Michael Keaton, Michael Fassbender, T.J. Miller, Ed Skrein and Gina Carano.

This year, it’s set to be the biggest film of all time, grossing $1.3 billion worldwide.
But that number could drop as it becomes increasingly difficult to reach this milestone.
For this weekend, the biggest hit is “The Shape of Water,” which is set to open this weekend with a domestic total of $4.3 million.
That puts “Deadpockets” behind “The Grand Budapest Hotel,” “Cinderella,” “Pitch Perfect” and “The Lego Movie.”
The film also is on track to beat the record for the highest grossing film in a single day, “The Avengers: Age of Ultron,” which grossed $1 billion in China and $1 million in the U.S. It’s also the second-highest-grossing movie in a calendar year behind “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.
Deadpool: The Movie has a nationwide run of 4,937 theaters on Saturday and Sunday, with an estimated 3,000 to 4,000 daily admissions.
“The Big Sick,” the sequel to “DeadPool,” is set for Friday.
